Universal Coal has over 1.93billion tonnes (Gross in-situ before losses) of JORC-compliant coal resources across five projects in South Africa; two highly prospective coking coal assets (Berenice-Cygnus and Donkin-Somerville, covering over 30 000 hectares in emerging coalfields), and three, low-cost, high-margin steam coal projects in the Witbank coalfield (Kangala, Roodekop and Brakfontein).
